Hurghada (airport code HRG) has one main international airport which is extremely close to resort. Transfers are generally short to all of the major hotels in the Hurghada and El Gouna airport.

Useful Airport Information
There is no public bus service from Hurghada airport. However, taxis are readily available outside the terminal We advise you agree a price with the driver before you agree to the journey.

If you wish to travel by car (this is not our preferred option!) then you can find the airport next to the main ring road. To get to the centre, head north from the airport before bearing right and heading towards the coast as the Ring Road forks.

There is no car hire available from the airport although there are several car hire offices in Hurghada's centre. If you choose to hire a car then please take care as Egypt has one of the highest road fatality rates in the world. Also, they don't tend to put the headlights on when it is dark!!
